The
The Department of Civil Engineering has been functioning since
2012. The Department offers a full time B.E degree course in
Civil Engineering. Civil Engineering Department is a
professionally run Department with a different focus on
education, primarily emphasizing through grooming research
acumen and also to develop entrepreneurs to contribute to
society at large rather than mere technocrats. Apart from
conducting academic programs, additional Industry Connected
Courses, Internships, Computer Courses, seminars and workshops
are conducted for the students as well as the faculty. A number
of consultancy works are also being carried out. The present
student intake of the Department is 180. The Department has well
experienced faculty. The students from different parts of the
country are studying in the branch.

Engineering Department of Sharnbasva University !! The Civil
Engineering Department is one of the founding Departments of
Sharnbasva University since 2012, over the years, has grown
tremendously, and is now recognized as one of the best and
major Engineering Departments. Civil Engineering is rightly
considered the most versatile amongst all engineering
branches. It is the branch with a lot of diversity right
from Surveying, Geo-technology to Structural Engineering,
Environmental Sciences to Hydraulics, and Transportation to
Hydrology. With its multifaceted faculty (33 regular
Faculty) it provides high-quality teaching and research. We
provide very attractive facilities and an environment for
those who join the Department as Faculty or Students.the
department has produced several eminent engineers who have
made significant contribution in the planning and execution
of civil engineering in India as well as abroad.
The department offers a
four-year course leading to the bachelor’s degree in civil
engineering and two year course leading to master’s degree
in structural engineering. In total there are 536 students
pursuing Bachelor degree and 35 students pursuing a Master
degree in the department. These programmes are supported
with strong doctoral programs in all the specialization with
emerging research area.
